In order to upgrade the equipment in several Operating Rooms, Swedish Medical Center wished to revise the nurse work area in each of three OR’s to serve as a control center for all their technology in the room. Additionally, ceiling mounted support booms were designed to carry all technology and remove it from floor mounted systems freeing up the rooms from clutter and allowing flexibility in the OR’s.
